i don't know how you think you could come up with a hydrualic line that could never break?:cookoo:..That is the weak link.But it is your truck and if it is a risk you are willing to take go for it..I will stick to things with back ups.. Good luck with it

I get what you are trying to do .. i think the height will be the biggest issues you will run into..The box will need to be mounted straight to the frame but this will make the tires hit the box at flex.. You will probably need to cut wheel wells into the box.Unless you are getting the box...

this set up gives you just that without modding the steering column or gear box.. it installs in the drag link and works the same as the air o matic the military used on the a3 only it uses hydro instead of air

i have full hydro on my tractor and know what it is like to loose steering cuz of a blown hose ...NOT fun ..At road speed deadly..I have lost brake lines many times ... a deuce has a manual trans just down shift to slow down and use the e brake to stop...If a steering hose lets go the wheels...

ok forget about weather it is legal or not there are several ways to get hydro boost steering.Only one of them bets everyones life on a couple of hydraulic lines..All the others have a back up ...I wouldn't want to be in a bad place cuz a hose failed and i ended up killing someone or getting...

Don't forget full hydro is illegal for street use.. . ..Fully power is easier to turn when it works.. but you have nothing when a hose blows. air assist helps but has hoses and a cylinder in harms way same as full hydro.You could savely and legally run a power steering box or a set up like what...

Not tryin to be negative or anything.but the deuce bed looked better.. That bed looks way to short-small for the truck..Maybe it would look better if you moved the crane back towards the bed and put a sleeper in the gap between the cab and crane...But this is just my oppinion..

Sounds like a good plan..Maybe you could make a pass through to get from the cab to the bed ..Then you could have extra useable seating back there too. Another good thing about the qaud cab long wheel base m109 camper is youll have plenty of room for the gen and waste and fresh water tanks..You...

It would be cool if someone made a set of dogbone mounts to fit five ton dogbones on a deuce...But i think you woulld be better putting the whole suspension under the ..It might give you some extra lift to fit those tires to..If not i'm sure it would be way easier and safer to make new dogbones...

that little winch probably only uses a 10 gauge wire to power it...I have run 12000lbs winchs off of the battery on my trailer that is fed by a 10 gauge wire with no problems..Most cars-trucks only use a 10 gauge wire to the bat from the alt..I can't remember seeing any with a melted alt wire...
