Im going to take my drums off too. But ill try it first with drums on. I really want to keep the military look. But if i paint the wheels and put an offroad looking tire on it. It will be fine I think.
Oh ok cool thanks. From I read in nc if it weighs less than 4k. Not grosses either way I've hauled several you have a better chance of getting struck by lighting than the trailer causing you to wreck... unless your a total moron.
Im also picking up a m105a2 from an auction. Im bringing the same stuff with me. mine said it has 11.00x20s? Not sure why hopefully its a misprint. Mine said parking brake is stuff Im going to sawzall the cable off hopefully that fixes it.
Im pulling it with a nissan xterra. Underpowered but it...
I remember reading a 16 inch wheel wouldnt fit with the drum on. Im only going to use this trailer around my property for firewood. Its really rusty and pretty much worthless. Im going to removed drums shoes air lines landing gear. Pretty much everything it doesnt need.
Im not 100 percent they will work. I get the trailer friday. Im debating on taking the tires with me to swap or do it when i get home. My poor nissan xterra is going to hate me. Ill get a picture as quick as i get back to the shop.
I have some isuzu wheels with an all terrain type heavy duty tire. Im picking the trailer up friday.. one of the parking brakes are stuck hopefully its nothing a sawzall and a sledge hammer cant fix.
I finally bought another m105 im going to attempt this with.. unfortuneatly it has 1100x20 tires.. Ill swap to smaller ones. Or possibly remove drums to clear isuzu 16 inch wheels.
