    FMTV High Speed Gears

IDK I run the MRAP CTIS computer which I believe keep the tires at 100psi, versus the 75.

    FMTV High Speed Gears

That's weird my 1084A1 with the C7 gets 5.8 mpg at approx 60 mph, and it's almost 9000 lbs heavier.

    M1078 LMTV planetary hub setup

Has anyone noticed that the hub reduction is actually 1.714:1 and not 2:1? The large bevel gears are a 24 tooth, the small bevel gears are a 14 tooth. 24/14=1.714

3.5 mpg is hard to believe I got 4 mpg doing 45 mph for 65 miles leaving tracks in the sand a foot deep.

    First LMTV

Good luck! Chasing electrical gremlins can lead you to drink! If you have WTECII the transmission control pad is actually the computer and I've seen those go haywire, especially if they got wet. I'd follow the harness from the cab to the transmission and see if there is any pinched wires, There...

    M1078 LMTV planetary hub setup

So I'm going to be that guy and state these aren't planetary gears... They are bevel gears. Planetary gear sets are something entirely different.

Horse power for different engines without hard upgrades.

Not true for all engines. Injectors and turbos are different because they had to be to flow more air/fuel.

Horse power for different engines without hard upgrades.

The highest hp numbers are marine versions. I believe there is a road HP of 370 for the 3126 and C7.

Horse power for different engines without hard upgrades.

The 3116 is for all intents and purposes an entirely different engine compared to the C7 and 3126. The 3116 had HP ranges from 180-375hp The 3126 had hp ranges from 180-425hp The C7 had similar power ranges up to 475hp. EGT's climb fast in the 3116 because the turbo is so restrictive.

New Aluminum FMTV wheels and tires on flea bay

Longer studs or shallower nuts. Most just go with the shallower nuts.

New Aluminum FMTV wheels and tires on flea bay

I don't know I've always run the steelies. Some swear by the aluminium wheels. The aluminium wheels are about 50 pounds less and stronger. The Caiman went to aluminium wheels as small IED's would just blow the tire off the wheel, whereas the steel wheel would get blown off the hub.
