When I say I am very picky, I am saying it is either family, or a friend. I do not stop when I see someone stuck unless they flag me down. I then stop and if they ask for assistance I offer to call 911. If it was a serious emergency I would do what was needed.
NY state is a litigious...
kit, yes or no?
From going to the linked thread, and then to the next thread linked therein, I did not get a definitive answer. The last post recommended calling a supplier after another said the kit would likely cost the same as a new air pack.
Clinto, you are in the loop on this, did...
I just ordered mine. It is 4" ID-OD with an 8" radius.
This gets the mushroom far enough out and away from the hood you can open it easily. Although steel is heavier it is also brush and overhanging branch resistent.
I would rather do this once and be done with it so no PVC for me thanks...
The going rate around here for a winch out of a regular car from a "normal" situation is 100. Trucks, well that is another story.
I have used both my deuce and my suburban to pull stranded vehicles out of snowbanks, ditches etc. I am very picky about who I help.
If you are pulling some fool...
From the sound of it, your master is probably too far gone to be worthy of a rebuild attempt. By the time the bore is honed out enough to get down to good metal it will be so oversized that the rear seal on the piston will weep fluid and be a source of a mess and eventually fail. New Master...
As to the heat only on high and low, I would take the resistor out and check and I will bet that one of the elements has broken off of the resistor array.
Heater cores do get plugged internally, but I would imagine that these trucks never were allowed to have the coolant get weak, or the anti...
I would think that if the master does not improve in terms of its return action that your master may be deteriorated due to corrosion or 'gunk' accumulation.
I would take a peek inside the boot of the master and look for brake fluid seepage. If there is any, it is time to rebuild or replace...

Absolutely correct on the constant flow of coolant through the heater core. Taking the heater apart to clean it is not an easy proposition. Even so, at some point it may be necessary. The foam you refer to is the gasket on the edges of the doors that seal the doors when you select heat, or not...
The resistor is connected to a splice that is in the harness where the power for high speed connect as well and they both connect to the fan. If the wire from the resistor has broken off, it could explain the non functioning lower speeds. I doubt seriously that the switch is bad since the high...
Check the blown frost plug location and there may be a piece of the old one still in the hole if it rusted out versus popping out. I would use a adjustable plug type out of rubber that you can tighten with a wrench to make the repair, and you can wait until summer to put a standard plug back in...
The other option for the deuce owner who has but one, is to have friends who have deuces or larger od iron equipment.
In that way you still have the strength in numbers thing that WM is talking about and you can suffer from your OD addiction together and have your meetings of OD Anonymous...
The M109 is lower than a deuce with a S280 shelter by a few inches. It is generally agreed that the M109 is about 10-8. The Shelter on my deuce is 11-2. I am assuming 9x20 tires as that is what I have on my deuce.

If you go to www.jatonkam35s.com there is a page for MEP003 and on that page is a sheet with all of the specifications for the MEP series of generators

The Ham Radio Technician's test is not all that hard and I am sure if you can handle working on your M1009 you can handle the test. The caveat is that you cannot simply BS your way through the test. You have to learn the material and as I said, it is not that difficult.
If you are serious...
To me it looks like a m105 frame, cutdown, but still has the proper springs with the helpers. You can see the dual parking brake handles and the original trailer plug for the lights. I could not tell if the air hose is there to operate the brakes.
Not much good for anything as it too heavy...
