TM 9-1827c
Page 7 has the proper adjustment procedure for Brake pushrod-piston freeplay for a military vehicle including the deuce.
Go to www.jatonkam35s.com and look in the deuce TM section almost to the bottom of the list.
This is an old manual but it has fantastic illustrations of the...
apples and oranges
"Well, That there paint is water based just like the military uses."
Water based paint is used on automotive finishes and is rapidly replacing solvent based paint for most industrial applications so I do not think that what kind of paint you use is going to effect much in...
The Bilateral Navicular disease is not good. He probably cannot be ridden.
Only 6-7 years old and looks decent otherwise as a pure bred Quarter horse.
I hope someone takes pity and gives him a retirement home.

I did email the OP a list of the TMs with direct links to each one which would get past the webpage display problem he is having with the JATONKA site.
When hard drives were 20 Gig or 50, giving up 300 megs was an issue, but most hard drives now are multiple times larger than they were 5...
Try going to the page at JATONKA's for the TMs for the deuce. The site is designed for 1024 x 768 resolution minimum as I was informed by the webmaster there.
Additionally it is set up for Internet Explorer and in EI8 you may have to use compatibility mode. If you have an older browser you...
If you follow the route of each air line from the driver's side of the airpack, at the middle, you will find the following.
One goes from the aircontrol valve at nearly the middle of the airpack to the back of the airpack and connects there. This is called the J Tube. If you can find this, all...
Unless you are going to put passenger plates on your deuce for weight with seats, you need to add some for a minimal amount of payload even if it is only tools and fuel and spares.
The purpose of the weight table is not to create a situation where we can sit here and split hairs over exact...
I cannot conceive of a reason to have 6TLs on the generator. The 6TLs (Typical Military Starting battery) are 825 CCA and are overkill for the generator set. Depending on the tow rig, 650 CCA ought to be plenty and still have the ability to start your tow rig. You can always use the two...
check ypur brake pedal free play
This would indicate that although the brakes work properly, the master is not releasing the residual pressure in the system. Here is a check to do.
With the truck off, and no pressure in the air system, open the door on the floor and remove the cap on the...
I prefer to lube mine on the inlet of the air going in.
A little oil goes a LOOONNNGGGG WWWWAAAYYY so
use it sparingly.
Better to lube it a couple of times a year than to flood the air pack with too much.
I have revuilt air packs where I poured the oil out as there was too much...
I have two shelters.
One is the S250 and it is outfitted as a communications shack with a repair station. It is currently mounted on a Single axle trailer which is designed as a Generator trailer and shares much with the MV types of trailers but is intended for an industrial market.
I have...
I found it, I found it

That manual is at www.jatonkam35s.com in the M54 TM section and the wire numbers are in the deuce section that identify every circuit in a military vehicle.

You should use a DOT approved line for the fuel return lines. I seem to recall that the DOT lines are rated for exposure to fuel and petroleum products and would hold up better. The poly stuff at the hardware does not have the liner that is designed to cope with the petrochemicals.
The size...
here is the information from the manual. The previous post is not correct for a 6x6 deuce. You can subtract 500 pounds to the empty weight for a deuce without a winch, but the gross is still the same.
This is straight out of the TM 9- 2320-209-10-1

I fillled out my SF97 so it had the same data as the tags inside the truck. If anyone were to try to verify your weight unladen, they would probably refer to the data tag for the empty weight.
In NYS you can set your max weight when you apply for a Historical registration. This is because...
Gee, I went to the Craigslist ad and it is gone...Crap!
I am trying to keep up with my neighbors and they told me they are getting an Abrahms just like Carnac.
I bet you have to know someone to actually get the bid list for those puppies!
Yeah, the 16" gun would look sweet on the M1A1...
I have one of the rifle mount kits installed in my deuce for the M151 and the M16/M14 and my M1 carbine fits it fine. So does my 10/22.
Hope this helps
This is a link to a page at LOGSA that has the manuals you need.

You will likely get a security warning. Proceed to page anyways as it is govt and safe.
Put TM 5-3805-255 in the third space and it will return a list of...
The full vehicle diagrams are in the TM indicated and are in the back of that TM. The system diagrams are in the TM indicated and are more for diagnostic work than tracing wires.
