The valves that I put on the air tank are designed to tilt to the side. I originally thought that the valves pulled straight down like a traditional relieve valve but when I got them I noticed that they are designed to pull from an angle and allow the plug mechanism to tilt and release...
Here's what I did with my drain valves.
I got the parts from McMaster-Carr

RE: Movin
Look around the Puyallup or bonney lake area those areas are about 20 min. from fife. If you wanna live farther out try graham area it's south east if fife.
Good luck on the drive, I've done it several times(brother lives in Fallbrook).
I can look for some rental agencies if that's...
I was sure nice of george w to even give me a complimentary tank of fuel too.
She ran great going down the freeway at 55+ mph. All the gauges work, tires need a little air though. I've already got a glad hand connector set up for the air chuck and tools. I also have the relays set aside to...
Ok, so I went to my local GL site expecting trouble with starting my rig. Hopped in turned on the power and hit the start button and it fired right up!!
She's all mine now.
Here she's posing with my m105.
RE: Re: Paid in full
Well I haven't made it out yet to get the Deuce. I ended up spending Friday "making space". At this point I'm planning on Tuesday heading out to retrieve it. I'll post upon completion and let everybody know how things went.
Hey you better get that fence done... I just checked my bank account and saw that GL pulled their money out today.
Hopefully that's a good sign that my ride will be home soon.
So how long did it take to get you truck from time of winning to when you actually pick it up? Just trying to get an idea of when I'll be bringing mine home.
Thanks
Kurt
Thanks for letting me know. I was figuring on having to go to the state patrol office to have it inspected. I'll wait and see what happens when I get my SF-97. I also planned on getting collector plates for it.
Glad to hear that everything went well. I'm waiting right now for my paperwork to go through. I've heard nothing but good about Loni over there at Ft Lewis. I was a bit nervous about the title issue with the state but it sounds like it was a breeze. Any suggestions you might have would be...
My first one was submitted on 8-14 also. It took a bit of prodding of GL to get it going by then. So by the post on here I'm figuring Mid Sept before I see it then who knows how long to get the SF-97 back.
Anybody have experience with Washington state about accepting the SF-97. I had some...
I asked GL at Ft. Lewis and once the paper work is complete and their paid they don't care if you drive it "off the lot" as long as it gets out of their way.
Good job on winning the truck..
I live only 10 miles from Ft. Lewis So it will be a short drive home for me. The wife is starting to warm up to the idea of a Deuce in the driveway. LOL
I figure that I can put 2 or 3 more on the property with out getting too crowded.
And yes, I'm already...
I put my request in on the 1st of Aug.
Had to do a correction on the EUC paperwork (my mistake) that was on friday (8- 8 ) that I found out about that and resubmitted yesterday (monday) Got another email in the afternoon requesting that I fill out the "Export Supplement" form. Filled out that...
