Official 2016 NC Denton Farm Park BUY/SELL/TRADE Thread.......

Got a MEP003a on an M116a3 trailer. WILL run and put out power. I haven't fooled with it in a while, but I plan on tinkering with it between now and April. I am NOT going to bring it down unless there is serious interest in it beforehand. $2500 or trade for an M886.

Upgraded deuce's tires to Goodyear G177 11.00R20s (dualed)

Search around in these forums, and you'll find some folks who have done exactly that. It's pretty cool! Give a deuce that "gravel truck" look.

Any of the 3/4 ton B-series vans (late '70s through late '90s) would have what you're looking for.

    Seat covers

I could try, but I don't feel like it. Wouldn't mind getting the seat reupholstered with shelter halves...IF I could find a shop willing to do that.

That's the plan, man! I decided to sit this year out to get work done on it. It's all taking much longer than I anticipated.:?

    Seat covers

Nevermind, I got an email back from John, and he said that he tried the 1008 cover in an M880 and they definitely do NOT fit. :( I decided to order one of these instead. Really wanted that green canvas, but sometimes ya gotta make a few compromises in life...

I would also like to add that big megameats like HMMWV tires are too much of a strain on the wheel bearings in the front Dana 44. I personally would go no larger than 285/75r16s myself.

Newb from SE MI w/ M880

Welcome to the group, from a fella that grew up in Plymouth! My core support has been patched as well, quite poorly I should add. :( I have another in a parts truck, but I decided that it was only marginally better than the one I already had, so I decided it wasn't worth the effort to swap it...

Question on Column Locks on M880 series trucks

Mine is like that as well. I was wondering about that myself. My Mom had a '78 Coronet when I was a kid growing up! Wish I had that car today. :(

    Seat covers

Anyone see any reason why I could *not* use a set of jatonkas seat covers that he advertises for the 1000-series CUCVs on the bench seat of one of these trucks? I mean, all the aftermarket vendors used to offer (and still do, for that matter) "one size fits all" seat covers for pretty much all...
