I just tested my lights. Might be TOO bright. I thought the brights were on when I first turned them on so I hit the switch and it got even brighter. I need to make sure they are aimed correctly for sure.
I can't post a link to an auction, but if you look around eBay using the search terms - universal wipers, hot rod wipers, street rod wipers, you'll find them. The best deal on two is a company out of Hudson, IA. Make SURE you order the right kit. One has everything, one has just two motors...
I'm 1/2 way through my electric wiper upgrade. I bought a 12 volt set off of eBay and got them modded to work. They need paint and the wiring to be complete. We pulled the air wipers motors with their hoses and removed the dash switch and tucked it up under the dash. Once we pulled it from...
Just finished my upgrade. I ordered a cheap (35 dollars) H4 upgrade kit for a VW Beetle. Then I replaced the 12 volt bulbs that were in them with 24 volt Hellas. I ordered the best pigtails I could find and soldered in the proper ends from Erik's Surplus. No dremal mods were required...
I got a NIB set coming as a Valentines present. My wife sure must love me. Or at least I hope she does when she finds out.
This was the one thing that I really didn't need and had to have.
Here is my version of the same heater. Since I don't own a welder I had to take it apart and bolt my mounts on. It was a tight fit getting the heater core to clear the bolt heads, but it worked. I'll be using the same three position switch, but instead of a resistor I'll connect 24 volts to...

I'm tempted to...
I don't put much faith in those codes. My truck was coded F7 and we drove it home. Other items are coded as new and are basically junk. The best plan is to ignore the codes, pics, etc and do a visual inspection. Expect what you inspect.
A RC Cola and a Moonpie sound pretty good right now!
Good luck in your hunt. I look forward to seeing your posts about - Why is my EUC taking so long?

Thank you for that useful and helpful advice. If wanting as little newbie biting and drama means I'm "getting bad", then I'm bad to the bone.
Look forward to hooking up and drinking beers (on me of course) at some of the east coast events after I retire later this year.
Can anyone tell me how to block a users posts? I get so tired of negativity. Thanks in advance.
No idea on the reverse problem - please post up once you have it figured out. Good luck.
