I used polyisocyanurate foam board from HD, here. Covering the ribs or studs is important IMO, they'll allow undersired for heat transfer even if you fill the space between them.

The electrical system of the '10 is different in many ways from the other CUCV variants, probably to accommodate for the extra loads required to power the ambulance services.
That's just one of the gremlins that plague the '10, IMO.

Another option is Curt 5531, worked for me. Same warning as art's option though, you have to chose where to get the other turn signal. The two options to plug in the harness are circled in red.

No tips for troubleshooting, but I do have working intermittent wipers on my ‘09 and would be happy to measure voltages anywhere along the circuit if it would help.
