After spending almost an hour waiting for the site to take my photos it timed out and lost my post. Why is this happening? It is a bit frustraiting because I work long hours now and only have a short time to be on my favorite site and this took up my entire evening visit
I just got an email from GL saying one of the transport dollys I have is now a Q DEMIL item and I need to fill out the paperwork. I told them I am on active duty in Korea and it would take a long time to get this done. What about an old rusty dolly convertor would require DEMIL? Sounds like...
I see the old water trailer popping up in the GL window at Fort Meade.
I am in on it to see if I can get it for what I think it is worth. Does anyone know if that is the old fiberglas tank or stainless steel one?
When I was in Afghanistan I got to climb around on one of the KG 31 mine resistant vehicles in Kandahar that was being used to de-mine Afghanistan. These are run everyday by our engineer Soldiers to help the Afghani people take their land back from the days of the Soviet occupation. I found...
I was just thinking having the fun Noah and I had at Aberdeen last year selling some excess stuff and thought it might be nice to have a thread where you could post what you are looking to find at a particular rally.
For starters this year at Aberdeen I can tell Noah and Christian where to...
As a lot of you know I got T boned back on 4 March and lost my little Kia pride that I got around in here in Korea. I have not been able to get an M1009 out of DRMO so I settled for the next best thing a 1988 Jeep Cherokee Laradeo.
It cost me $400.00 but I had to get it running and then put...
Well We did it:
Christian my oldest son and I flew down to Baton Rouge on Monday and littleBob was very kind to take a day off and pick us up to take us to Timntrucks to pick up our M818. My Son aired up all the drive tires and Tim and his family had a great BBQ waiting for us to eat. Both Bob...
I am sure this won't be treading on any toes since the pictures flash in front of me everytime I click here so here goes:
Lots of trucks showing up in the South East being auctioned at a code H, dollar value $1,000 and showing lots of rust. I would seriously look at them if I was retired and...
The Army is working on new hybrid trucks and I found this note on the new Mule on the Army web page: I found a better picture of the mule

Can you tell me where the heater output is supposed to go? I see the output is is supposed to go where the other circle is? if not is there a manifold under the dash that routes the heated air to the winshields or floor?
Thanks looking at a 1,000+ mile drive in March in this truck and the...
These old gals are being cleaned up and headed for re-fit. They are coming home after soldiering on for years in the land of the morning calm.
The pictures are in the maintainance area at Waegwan, not far from the famous Busan Perimeter of the Korean War.
Not that they will become available...
I am not selling this as of yet but with the M818 coming my way I would consider letting this one go at a good price. It has a temporary mounted fuel tank as you can see because the two saddle tanks are in the process of being cleaned of gunk. The winch is mounted and the PTO with shaft are...
I just got an email from GL showing a bunch of self loading trailers, they are marked Marine Corps but the hook up for the big trailers leaves me wondering how would you hook up to this? There are 62 of them in the sale so I don't think anyone here will mind seeing this
I am looking at an M109 that is shown as a 1965 Multifuel any clues as to what engine would be in it. I can't tell if it is the same as my duece or not. I have FOD tonight so I am on USA time table again for once.
God bless
If I was to drive an M818 bobtail and keeping it at moderate speeds what kind of milage would you expect to get. I am looking at the cost to do about 850 miles in one if I am getting it. Anyone with one of these please chime in I know the gasser M52 would only get about 3 to 4 MPG and it would...
Wierd things happen in the world of GL I bid on a single axle semi van in Chambersburg and got a bid confirmation email. Went online this morning expecting an out bid or winning email and nothing. Log on and the trailer is gone. Anyone see this trailer headed out the door?
This truck is one of the more gaudy trucks I have ever seen and thoughs of it being a Philippino Jeepney whose roots were from WW II Jeeps left there by our Army and Marines. It took as many pictures as I could of it and thought you would enjoy seeing it too. I think it has more horse power on...
These trucks are excess to Korea and we are shipping them to Red River Texas. If the USANG does not get them they sure would be a nice find they are all almost brand new and the great thing is none of them are plagued by CTIS.
