Yes 3 speed but it got a new 6.5 put in it with the rebuild. I guess they ran out of money to upgrade transmissions on these because 100% of the R1s for sale are 3s.

The rebuild date is 2005 but when was it actually built? Will they put that on the sf-97? I ask because it will be much easier to insure and title it if its over 25 years old which I suspect it likely is.

Yeah mine was already dripping after 2 days Edit: also the price of the dorman plug has gone up, mine was over $8 so you're better off spending $21 (after shipping) for the original from someone like federal military parts.

I just had to do this yesterday, the correct one is on order but I didn't want to wait to drain the tank so I went and got the Dorman from the auto parts store. Unfortunately when trying to pull it out the head broke off so now I have the other half of the plug just floating around in my tank...

My new rig came with Exide 6T AGMs but I have no idea how old they are since it wasn’t written on the label, is there another place it would be?
