awesome. never happened before last night, didnt think I could "warp" a drum that quickly, but I stand corrected. I havent really ever looked for replacement hubs/drums, but where/how much do they usually go for? Turning any brake parts means im just that much closer to replacing it.
I'm kinda used to these quirks of these trucks now, but this one puzzles me. Last night my truck started getting a funny pedal feel, almost a pulsing. Normal braking, no noticeable fade, but the pedal will soften and harden and push back a bit under all braking, from light effort (for the A3)...
Amen. I dunno what irritates me more... the forum being gnar'd up (this is the 3rd one I'm a member of with the same attack), or people actually making personal attacks on the site staff.
"Lighten up, Francis."
FYI, a lot of public service agencies (atleast here in Houston) are moving to the 700mhz bands within the next 12-18 month. Something to think about when looking at buying a new scanner
my truck had a VIOLENT shake at 40 when I first got it... then I realized 2 of my wheels did not have the wheel weight. Fixed it and hasnt shaken since. a little skittish taking turns at speed, but nothing like it used to
so YOU"VE been the people bidding against me!
I've managed a few extra parts, my last 1780 and control boxes are actually NOS. With the help of Old Grouch and Patsy, I have essentially an NOS VIC-1 and SINCGARS radio installation in my truck now. Not so much on my RT-1473, but...
negative, i saw it on GL a few weeks back, in PR
and yeah the tranny temp seems high. even when my truck was retardedly low on fluid after blowing the tranny filter seal, i think i barely saw 165ish
