Yeah top post. You don't have to take off the top. You could use washers and pop rivets. Search the forum for pics of that repair.

I would live at 55 or less, and check the brakes extra good! You may want to get a replacement mirror as well for the broken ones. It's hard enough to see with good ones.

It will grind if the transfer case is stuck between high and low. They can be a pain if the truck is on an incline. Remove all air again and release the parking brake. (The truck should not move with the spring brakes applied) This should let you get it back to high range. It may take a few up...
