I would leave it on the good tank, purge the fuel lines real well with good diesel, clean out the filter canister and put in new fuel filters. See what happens.
I believe if it's 32 spline, it will bolt up.. I just read a thread, lemme see if I can find it.

I believe you're talking about the airpac, you can either buy a new one or rebuild it. Do a google search "deuce airpac rebuild" or something to the effect, you will get plenty of info I'm sure. Make sure that's the part that's bad before you go taking it apart. There are plenty of vendors that...

I think the XL's look the best, just an interesting tread pattern to me.. The others are very close though, I like them all. The XL's seem to have a pretty soft compound, I'm not sure if the others are similar or not.
There's a little diamond plate platform between the 5th wheel and tire rack. As WM said if you have a trailer there is gonna be less room and more obsticles.
