Yes, a lot of planning has been going into this, and with the Soni's and Drews builds on here they have already went through the things that are more difficult to figure out. Already have my air throttle (Williams Controls 117888 from Finditparts) for the engine, and 1:1 Hub City parallel...
Took the final step in no turning back yesterday removing the cab from the M932A2. The MK-48 cab is ready to go on soon once I weld the fabricated brackets to the frame extensions on the M932A2. Thanks to the inspiration from Soni and Drew with their FEMMT & SEMMT projects I wanted to also build...
Excellent fabrication work by M35A2-AZ on these outriggers. You will definitely be glad you had them made up now instead of actually when you need them. Thanks for all your help yesterday Matt and expertise removing the winch/components.
Great Show, Thanks to everyonme that volunteered.
Enjoyed the show, thanks for all the volunteers from the club that helped with all the commitments. I am sure they would have rather been seeing the vehicles and being able to spend time with friends. So I have to say it is greatly appreciated...
I have to agree with Soni Matt, it looks Awesome. Putting the color on the camo diagram sure does make a difference. Next time I will do the same thing. I agree to put down a full coat of green first, especially since the black and brown seems to fade first. And I felt the same way when I fist...
Window Trim Finsihed.
Finished a few more things during the last couple of weeks. The trim around all windows is now completed, new WEN generator is installed, and the front corner I finished installing the FRP panels from Lowes. Put the FRP on the side door, but need to finish the trim work...
Rory, Since I already painted the roof with the white rubberized coating last year, I decided to keep the white since it is noticeably cooler even in the Phoenix heat. So I guess I have the shoulder camo, but I do not think the US Military will use it again, unless some General wants new...
Thanks Rayzer and Camoyj7. With about four different coats of paint on this thing it was taking 60 grit sandpaper to even even out the chips. Still need to go back, and lower all the windows and mask it back off and paint anything where any tan is visable.
After 3 weekends of sanding, I finally have some camo applied to the outside of the trailer. Now just have to get all the information markings painted back on (tie-down, tire pressure, ect). In the process of getting the trailer ready for a car show at the end of October. Now that the outside is...
Accuride 6 bolt rim from 2011 Accuride Catalog
Great job looking this up Juanprado and Matt, also the in the 2011 Accuride catalog they show this information. On the website they only showed the 19.5 rim available when searching. Hayes rim may also be available at a reasonable price. Guess now...
I used OSP paneling in mine, but used 1 tube of liquid nail (for paneling) on each 4' x 8' piece and it is holding up well, and adheres to the plywood and does not bow out. I also use long rivets on the seams to hold it firmly in place. With some trim half way across these large pieces it could...
