I'm in the same boat. I have a 2000 K3500. It did belong to the Army, same engine and drive train as the CUCV2 pick-ups, none of the other stuff though which is fine with me. Only problem, no brush guard.
I had Stonpicker send me measurments to have one made. I talked to a fab shop here in Va...

Initially I was going to drive the M-1009 back home. Due to the amount of work that still needs to be done, I'll be driving the K3500 home with the wife and her son.
Change one :The route will be 58 through Va...
My first oh-nine had the left overs of some kind of ( mice and or rats ) nest in the back seat. Great big clumps of ghost terds, nut shells and a few candy wrapers.

I found out last night that when we installed the sending unit, we must have cut and or tore the o-ring. I went to fill it up, it didnt "gurgle" when it was full.
I gave the truck a good shake, and I could see fuel coming from the top, right...
I used capplugs CEC-18 / NAS831-18C . Might be able to find something like at an electrical supply store. Sadly, the caplug website doesn't sell quantities of less than 50.
