I bought my second M-1009 from a dealer in Texas I found on autotrader.com $4500...and it was a steal!! Very little rot/rust. The Army unit that had it prior to me took care of it...amazingly enough.
BOOOOOO!!!!!! No pics?!?!? LOL.....I parked next to an LSSV at the mini-mart getting lunch today. I waited to see if the driver came back and let me look it over......Ran out of time and had to head back to work. Oh well, maybe next time. I see them all time. Guess I'll have to keep my camera...
The aircraft flies at the " coffin corner ".... a few knots too slow, she'll stall. A few knots too fast, she'll fall apart. 2000 hrs in one type/model/series is a bu$% ton of flight time.
Changed oil/oil filter and fuel filter. Greased front end and drive train as per the lube order.
Truck had been a little slugish over the past month. Found some loose clamps on the filter housing. I suspected air getting in the system...now I know where it was coming from.
I have a Kiddie 2.5# ABC in the oh-nine. It needs to be recharged though.....Would giving it a good shake help to check for correct pressure? After reading all of the posts, Might consider a 5#. Thanks for all the great info....[thumbzup]

I'd rather have an A10 serving as FAC-A or CAS any day. I wouldnt see the modern air-to-air much of a threat since they (A10's) fly 500 and below when trolling for targets.
From my stand point, I'd rather have an aircraft like the A-10 over an F-22, F-35 or F-18E/F. More reliable and eaiser to...
