    Need Help Identifying Leaking Part

I believe it is the oil cooler cover. You can pop it off and weld up the hole if it is rusted out and reinstall and refill the AF and it should get you home. Probably you have to go to the engine manual to find the specific parts.

    #2 gen light on

At any rate, they are 12V 100A alternators, and should put out about 14.4V ea. The combined, in series, voltage will be in the neighborhood of 28 Volts. So, when you have them tested, do not expect to have your repairman find 28V. If one or both of your alternators, which are internally...

    Gama Goat gun mount

not much good without the mounting base...It has to mount on a flat surface and the rotation has to be such that the weapon will not hit any impediment as it is a low profile unit.

    M35A2 VS M923

Now we can say: Get David Doyle's Standard Catalog of Military Vehicles by Krause Publications and study it in bed. It is a quick and easy way to get up to speed on MVs and their common iterations and ideosyncrasies and relative values. In the old days we really loved our TM 9-2800 for...

M35a2 Stock Oil Filter Torque Specs Needed!

I would be using 15-40 Diesel Rated Oil, unless you live and work in the tropics. Gummint started using it instead of the 10 winter 30 summer in about 1970. Probably is stencilled "use 15-40 oil only" inside the hood. As you are a newbie, be advised there are three fuel filters to deal with...

    What's this for?

I certainly would not carry spare fuel in the passenger compt. A water can would be more appropriate, but the AAL for the CUCV authorizes a Alarm, chemical agent and a Can, Fuel and a Spout, fuel can for all models, among other things, but no bracket for the fuel can. Hummmm?

    Thermostat for OA-331 Continental

Have them look under Reo gold comet. The engine is not a Continental, however may be a OAC331 which was a copy of the Reo 331 made by Continental after Reo was no longer a free standing company as in Diamond Reo, etc.

    M123 up close

The running gear is all Mack, even the ones with the Cummins put together in CT by ConDec. Mack later converted some LeRoi gassers to Cummins. Contrary to some opinions, the Cummins was not a 904 even though it looked like it. It is a 785 V8 of 300 HP with lower max torque than the LeRoi...
