Thanks for posting those photos! You'll be kept pretty busy with a project like that.
It looks a lot like mine did when I first got it. Since I love working with wood, metal
and paint... mine now looks like this:
After a while... the whole family got involved with it! We all love...
This is one of the pics from the rack project Nick had started.
It's got all kinds of stuff mixed into the design.
Something like that would keep me busy all winter!
Thanks, MWMULES. [thumbzup]
I've previously looked over that document and agree that it's a very nice rack.
With all the cold weather setting in, I was actually wanting to get myself involved
in a reinvent the wheel kind of project that might end up with a more unique design...
and... at...
Hi Dave...
What you wrote reminds me of myself not too long ago. I had no experience with large vehicles... let alone a multifuel military vehicle.
I love learning about how to maintain and use my M35A2 and this site is a great place to help make that happen. The folks here are the
best and...
Hey Nick... Wondering if you have any pics, or info on the totally completed rack?
I tried the link (from the first post), but it did not seem to be working. Some additional
exploring of your website brought me to this link:

Nice save! Bet it's glad to have found a new home! Looks like it's got an interesting history to reveal!
Can't wait to see pics of the others to come! [thumbzup]
Love how it looks! A nice paint job can really bring about a beautiful transformation! [thumbzup]
The H-U-G-E lightbar adds the feeling of POWER to an already powerful truck! Nice job!
Hi tobyS...
The tires are 9.00 in size. They're T-Hawks that are in pretty nice condition.
I think you are correct about the 'setting up'. We just finished in time for the paint
to 'shield' itself from the damage that the rain could have caused in the event the storms
had come earlier. We...
Thanks, Mike! Much appreciated... especially because you are the one who motivated me to actually jump into it!
Plus, the extended warm weather gave me the 'window of opportunity' I needed to transform 'The Rust-Bucket'!
Looks like you've got a great place to do work inside. Is it also a...
Thanks Ahab...
It actually turned out pretty well... in spite of the rains.
The whole family really put in a lot of effort with the prep.
The Behr paint went on great and has the look of CARC,
which is what we wanted. We covered both the underside
and up top (excluding the soft top and...
I finished my M35A2 a few weeks ago... just before the rains beat down on it.
After tons of prep work, we gave it 3 coats of uncut Behr 383 with the cheap
HF air sprayer. For the time being... it will stay green. I might add the brown
and black to complete the camo this summer. However, the...
No matter how hard I looked... I'd never find anything that awesome, or useful just laying around!
Even if I were to be so lucky... I'd not know how to use them until after I finished following your thread!!
