Just realized that none of the tires had chains. I'm thinking that might have helped the deuce with traction issues.
Thoughts? I'd have tried it without chains, especially since the group was large enough to help those that got stuck,
but I would have brought them with me... just in case. 8)
Brian... I for one would like you to know (IMHO) that the kind of post that you made is very helpful and positive... especially for new
folks considering getting into MV ownership. Your words were cautionary, but realistic. Your choice of photos was clear and very
relevant to the topic.
I can...
I'm really glad to be getting my list down to just little, easy stuff! I've got to get this deuce prepared
to successfully complete a 2800 to 3000 mile trip from the east coast... west! :-D
If I was having to deal with big, serious, more difficult stuff... I'd be especially nervous!
I would imagine that they might be available for just one door depending on the seller.
I got mine as a pair, because I wanted to be able to lock and unlock both doors, from

been unable to get...
Interestingly enough... tonight I tried to upload a pic (to a different thread) and my efforts failed.
I tried 5 more times and each time... total fail! My methods were the same as before. Now that
does not work anymore. :shrugs:
I've found (for some reason) that if I click on the 'Go Advanced' button... I have a much better
chance of success uploading my pic! Not sure why that might be, but... it seems to work for me.
I plan to give it a watch, but my sleep cycles are so mixed-up that I hope I'm awake when it begins.
I've been outside... crawling under the deuce all day! After having that much fun, jam packed into 11 hrs,
I usually fall asleep early while reading TM's!
:ditto: That's the only way I've ever been able to upload my photos! :shrugs: Did not know there was any other method.
The 'one-at-a-time way' has almost always been dependable.
They are good solidly designed trailers. Over the past year, or so I've seen them widely range in price from $200 to $1800 depending on condition.
If the one you are viewing is in good solid shape, the asking price might not be too bad. I recently met a guy selling one (at his yard sale) because...
