    Snow run this Saturday 1/9/2016

Just realized that none of the tires had chains. I'm thinking that might have helped the deuce with traction issues. Thoughts? I'd have tried it without chains, especially since the group was large enough to help those that got stuck, but I would have brought them with me... just in case. 8)

That sounds like a great time, especially if that elephant had strong knees and ankles! ;) Wish I could have been out there with you all. [thumbzup]

    Newbie questions regarding brake work

Wondering if you've been able to make that short drive we had discussed?

    Newbie questions regarding brake work

Brian... I for one would like you to know (IMHO) that the kind of post that you made is very helpful and positive... especially for new folks considering getting into MV ownership. Your words were cautionary, but realistic. Your choice of photos was clear and very relevant to the topic. I can...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I'm really glad to be getting my list down to just little, easy stuff! I've got to get this deuce prepared to successfully complete a 2800 to 3000 mile trip from the east coast... west! :-D If I was having to deal with big, serious, more difficult stuff... I'd be especially nervous!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I would imagine that they might be available for just one door depending on the seller. I got mine as a pair, because I wanted to be able to lock and unlock both doors, from the outside, with keys that were keyed-alike. NOTE: Pic upload is working again!!!!!! :jumpin:

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I was able to check another thing off my Deuce-To-Do-List. I removed my old door handles and replaced them with a new key-lock style. It's nice to be able to secure the cab so easily! [thumbzup] Note: I've been trying to upload photos to go along with the post, but have been unable to get...

New Series on the History Channel

I managed to stay awake to watch it! Commercial break. I like it so far. Seems to be pretty well done.

    Survival 109 build

Interestingly enough... tonight I tried to upload a pic (to a different thread) and my efforts failed. I tried 5 more times and each time... total fail! My methods were the same as before. Now that does not work anymore. :shrugs:

    Survival 109 build

I've found (for some reason) that if I click on the 'Go Advanced' button... I have a much better chance of success uploading my pic! Not sure why that might be, but... it seems to work for me.

New Series on the History Channel

I plan to give it a watch, but my sleep cycles are so mixed-up that I hope I'm awake when it begins. I've been outside... crawling under the deuce all day! After having that much fun, jam packed into 11 hrs, I usually fall asleep early while reading TM's!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

True... true... true!! I just LOVE that aspect about driving a big, green MV! [thumbzup]

    Survival 109 build

:ditto: That's the only way I've ever been able to upload my photos! :shrugs: Did not know there was any other method. The 'one-at-a-time way' has almost always been dependable.

Hope to get this trailer, what should I inspect?

They are good solidly designed trailers. Over the past year, or so I've seen them widely range in price from $200 to $1800 depending on condition. If the one you are viewing is in good solid shape, the asking price might not be too bad. I recently met a guy selling one (at his yard sale) because...
