Scored a bunch of odds/ends for my deuce ( cargo straps,spotlight sealed beam, fuel guage,etc etc ).
Talked with steve6x6x6 while drooling over his bobber and hooked up with a bunch of old ( Florida ) friends and had a great time.

I've always thought as a group we should buy some of those little metal "Clickers" like the ones paratroopers used in the D-Day Normandy landings, we could walk around clicking them until someone else in the group responded..

You should have a vented fuel cap on the M-37 like the one inthe pic, make sure the ( fording ) valve in the cap is open ( see pencil ). The little 1/8"vent line that runs from the tank to the airhorn is for when your fording and really doesn't vent enough when your out running high rpms.
I did the simple jumper that gringel mentioned on my first deuce ( pictured ) back in 1999 and its still works fine today, once I get my side running lights mounted on my current deuce I'll be doing the same thing to it, total cost was about 79cents

When I started my fuel cleaning business my first fuel truck was a 1964 Dodge D-400 with a poly 318ci engine, this truck had literally been put out to pasture for 3 years before I bought it ( I was on a tight budget ). About half way back on my 180 mile trip home with it the truck lurched...
$10k is pretty steep price even with trailer.
