Incorrect, You would want the neutral and ground un-bonded when feeding into a main service panel. The neutral and Service Equipment Ground are already bonded at that point. You do not want two grounding points.

Yes it can, however I would use the B/O switch position to operate a relay controlling your off-road lights. DO NOT put the full load of those lights on that switch.
Nah, the truck isn't cursed, you're just finding and exterminating all the bugs. By the way, the flasher module would be bad if none of the turn signals operated. You'll only get an ampere reading if you have your meter in series with a load.
