m139h2otruck I would love to see pics of that anti-drain valve in the base of that 5ton engine. The deuce already has a drain plug built in that the TM suggests being used to drain the filters, so it is...
I am having some problems getting decent pics. Those white cans are throwing off my camera on those dark metal parts. I am going to make a small run of these to see if people like them. I am open to suggestions if anyone had anything to suggest. The pics are of one of my prototypes, so the...
I finally got in my camera, so I figured I would post some pics of the filter bases I have been working on for a while. These use the 51970XE wix filter which is a 5 micron filter. Currently these only fix the filtration problem with the stock oil system on the deuce. These do not have a one...

I emailed them to ask if they will be taping it, and if so will it be possible to obtain a copy.
There are very few things on the trailer that could cause "vibration or bouncing" other then the tires, so check for flat spots or them being out of round. Since I saw more then a few knowledgeable people trying to flip the lunette this year at Aberdeen using a sledge to loosen it up I don't...
houdel I am wondering where you got the figure for the deuce oil pump making 20-26gpm? If you are getting that figure from the max flow of each of the 1133 filter combined I think you may be too high. I am highly suspect that the deuce is not designed to full that full flow. I suspect that...
I understand the need for the uparmoured vehicles, but they are some ugly monsters. Of course that does not prevent me from wanting one for my driveway :D
I feel like alot of this have been covered heavily in the past. Taking your time is key. I ran into the problem of getting my toys home from GL locations. I would suggest that you either only buy vehicles you have preinspected and are already running, or figure out now how you would tow any...
RE: Re: RE: Change Filters - Doubles Oil Pressure?
At Aberdeen Ziggyo was telling me about how his deuce engine was out of a can that was built for boat usage. His oil pressure is up to 120psi he was saying. It appeared to have the regular oil pump. I figure the oil ports must me smaller...
If your stock one works it should be pretty darn loud. Probably cheaper then trying to find a better 24v one. AMGeneral was saying something about having a horn on one of his trucks that would damage your hearing...
That truck looks really good. What sort of engine is in that thing. It has the narrowest looking engine compartment I think I have have seen. Was the engine derived from an aviation inline engine?
