Are you talking about a deuce PTO winch? If you remove the cable first, two men can easily pick the winch up as the winch alone weighs only about 130#. Don't forget to get some gaskets to get enough gear lash. Too little and the transmission will be hard to shift into 2-3-4-5 gears. Ax me how...

You could buy a Cummins engine and transmission and have it installed for less than that NON RUNNING truck that is going to take thousands to get it running.
Take off EVERY electrical connector you can find and spray it WD-40 or you will never stop having electrical problems. I would advise taking out the instrument cluster and doing the same. It will be a long, time consuming process but totally necessary.
