The gaskets that are on the parts cross reference page are THIN. Not much more than 24# paper weight. Not nearly as thick as card stock paper.

Are you talking about a deuce PTO winch? If you remove the cable first, two men can easily pick the winch up as the winch alone weighs only about 130#. Don't forget to get some gaskets to get enough gear lash. Too little and the transmission will be hard to shift into 2-3-4-5 gears. Ax me how...

Take off EVERY electrical connector you can find and spray it WD-40 or you will never stop having electrical problems. I would advise taking out the instrument cluster and doing the same. It will be a long, time consuming process but totally necessary.
