Put the Deuce to good use the other day.

That's okay. I don't mind. BTW, I did ask if I could come over and play with my winch.

Put the Deuce to good use the other day.

Last week I noticed a tractor stuck in a fellows garden. Not wanting to be too forward, I waited a couple of days to see if he managed to get it out himself, but it was STUCK! Sunk all the way down to the axles. So I stopped by the fellow's house and left a note in the door saying that I...

RE: Howard Hammond I was there last November. Buddy is cutting up everything and selling it as scrap metal.

Robyn, what happens to morons who bid up a whole slew of items and then default on them?

    Trucks at Smyrna, TN

Do a search for Smyrna. I saw a thread the other day where someone was going there soon.

    Emergency shutdown

Why worry about a runaway? The military didn't think it was enough of a problem to do something about it.

winching and rigging (BFR 5 Trees 0)

When I was a boy, my brother and I chased a flying squirrel down and caught it. It became docile surprisingly quickly, within a few hours.

    GL reselling trucks

What good would that do? If his friend wasn't bidding against him, he would have gotten them cheap anyway.

    WO/W to W/W

And soak every not and bolt you can find on the bumper with penetrating oil a few hours before you start. It will make disassembly MUCH quicker.

    GL reselling trucks

RE: GSA Item If GL finds out that a bidder is ineligible, the very least they could do is to find all the items he bid up and go to the person who did win the auction and give them the item at the price before the ineligible bidder started bidding. For example in event 3058 ONE PERSON either...

    GL reselling trucks

The number of trucks that are re-auctioned makes you wonder how many INELIGIBLE people are out there running up the bids and forcing the rest of us to pay more than a fair bid. Think about it. A person ineligible for some reason or another runs up bids on several trucks but is successful in...

RE: 15.5 Looks great. Where did you get the rims? What is the tire diameter?

Deuce prices way up on today's end auction

I have found that a large number of vehicles that up for auction appear a couple of months later in a different auction. It may be that the buyers backed out or their CC was refused or they couldn't get and EUC. For whatever reason, keep watching the same auction yard and those geuces may end...

    WO/W to W/W

The winch is no where near 400# if you take the wire rope off first. Maybe 130#. My son and I easily lifted mine and placed it on the winch frame extensions.

    WO/W to W/W

I just finished one this week. It is all bolts and nuts. It is not hard at all but it is a lot quicker and easier if you use an impact wrench. Most of it can be done by one person but you will need a second person to lift and place the winch (without cable, of course) and a second person to...

    Mineral Oil in a Multifuel?

Many years ago they used oils with PCB's (powerful cancer causing agent) in them but not now. If the oils had PCB's in them the power company would NEVER be allowed to just give them away. They would be required to handle them as a hazardous chemical and they would be disposed of by injecting...

Where to find parking brake parts.

The parking brake shouldn't see any wear at all as it isn't supposed to stop a moving vehicle. Can you not adjust the brakes?

    SOLVED! More transmission/clutch problems

First, check for how much free pedal you have. You should have between 1" and 2" of pedal travel before you feel more than a few ounces of resistance. You can easily adjust it by removing the linkage arm and shortening it with the adjuster nut. Second, I would check for oil leakage from the...
