The 0-60 PSI sending unit/gauge would be a little more precise over the 0-120 set up. Sending unit is on the passenger side, back of the block, above the starter. I agree with the others, sounds like a short somewhere. Be sure and download those TMs to become more familiar with your truck.

I would think most battery maintainers are designed to charge at least (2) batteries in parallel. I know for sure my Battery Minders are. If you are maintaining and not charging, I cannot see where "half the advertised charge" would be a problem.
Go to your local truck stop and buy a gladhand, install a reducer and female quick-disconnect on it. Install male and a quick-disconnect female on a 25' air hose, roll up and store in tool box.
