The A2 series are the only ones to come with the 6CTA8.3 turbocharged engine. The "A0" and A1 both have the NHC-250. The A2 series are also the only ones with CTIS. TM9-2320-272-10 page 53
Good call, I forgot about that. I had one in one of my tractor wheels, it did that. Just go around with an inflater, try inflating at the wheel valve of each tire. If one of them won't take air, unscrew the fitting going into the turret. There will be a schrader valve in there, remove it.
I put one of them on the drivers side of my deuce. Deciding where to put it on my M923, It's got all the holes for the fender, but I don't have the complete fender mount, missing the support bracket.
Boat shop charged me almost as much as a replacement. Once you get the top curled over the hood, you slide the plastic pieces with the top to the side out of the channel at the top of the windshield.
Yeah that's one of the possibilities, according to what I've read it's a rarity for the brain itself to be the culprit but you never know. Wish i had the tool too, it would make it much simpler to narrow down the problem. Good luck. Nice you got one of the upgraded roll over cabs i see!
That is sweet!, betting aftermarket. Never saw one on these trucks before. Takes way less bedspace than my crane.... ;)
Where do you keep the spare tire?
Like someone else mentioned getting it into low range is a typical problem on all these trucks. Exhaust all your air (under 60lbs or so)and it should drop right in.
No, I have that happen on a couple of my trucks and the run flat overrides it, at least on mine. I'd start by swapping out or testing the PCU. Testing the PCU for continuity is somewhere in that pdf. I used it precisely for that and found I had a bad solenoid. Swapped out one of my other trucks...
Don't know why the DANA/Spicer CTIS troubleshooting PDF isn't a sticky, do a search for it. Lots of good info to figure out the problem.
