Straps on 931A2, cables on 923

What are these straps on the 931/932 and what are these electrical connections for on a 923 NHC250 above the IP?

Hand throttle idle problem with NHC-250. RPM's rise after a minute or two.

I will see if it that's the case, thanks.

Hand throttle idle problem with NHC-250. RPM's rise after a minute or two.

Handle does not move at all. Notice the rpm's with my foot throttle are a little unpredictable too. Hold it steady and the rpm's don't stay steady.

Hand throttle idle problem with NHC-250. RPM's rise after a minute or two.

My 923 NHC-250 idles fine except when I use the hand throttle. I'll set it say at 900RPM, it will stay at 900 RPM for a minute or two and then start increasing rpm on it's own till it's screaming. Any idea what is causing this and the solution?

Water in oil in M925A1 - New addition

I'm doubting it's the oil cooler. You'll see oil in the coolant. Oil pressure is much higher than coolant pressure. I recently changed my oil cooler because of that reason. It came from the NG with oily looking coolant, sure enough when it heats up oil gets pumped into the coolant causing the...

WSUCougar's M925A1 Acquisition and Build Thread

WOW. What were the damages for that beauty? In a Constitutional world we could get the real thing cheap. I hope the NFA case going through the courts is realized.

    Another CTIS Problem!!!!

I bought a take off from someone parting out a truck, told it was not working to use a solenoid. Turned out it was a good PSU! I ended up sending him a little more cash cause I didn't feel right. Yeah electro magnetic.

    Another CTIS Problem!!!!

Sounds like it's working to me? You'll hear noises as it cycles and fills low tires. When the tires are fully aired it will stop and the light will remain solidly lit. I couldn't play the movie, just going by your description.

I like to dive head first into ownership, how about you?

Take a couple 5 gallon cans of Diesel and a fuel filter wrench of appropriate size.. Lot's of the "won't start" mean out of fuel. Just helped a new owner pull a M923A2 of the trailer it was delivered on, the guy said it ran right up to the ramps on his trailer. then wouldn't restart. We pulled...

    M931A2 front axle staying engaged

There was a thread or two with pics on lots of trucks having the lines to the front axle routed incorrectly. Also some threads on removing the auto engage when putting the transfer case in low.(easy as removing the big washer on the linkage or turning the switch away from the washer.) Sounds to...
