My 52 and 127 do the same thing. The fifth wheel is 56 inches on level ground. And for the 127 to sit level it would have to be 50 inches. My 197 dolly is 50 inches and the trailor sits level with it.
ssjsned. I think the newer dual tstat thermo housing is what you'll need. The hose comes off tward the rear and higher to clear the serp belt. But i think you are prolly going to have a problem with it hitting the orignal air filter housing.
Mine has a miller 225d diesel genset/welder in the front of the bed. It uses the trucks fuel tank to run. The cables just plug into the machine. I've never seen one like yours. Can you post some pics of the generator and the pto?
The same storm is sopposed to be here today. Glad the truck is full of fuel. It may get a workout. Day's like this make me glad to have a hard top and a deep water fording kit. Looks like i'll be doing wheel bearings again soon.
Alpha, I'll do a real world test for you to see milage differences. My ruck spends alot of time in the woods so milage is had to keep tract of. But i could do it by engine hours. The next road trip i'll get some better numbers. And the mixture is determined by the price of diesel. If it's high...
The FDC's main job is to keep power output the same no matter what fuel you are burning. With gas it should increase the rate. Witch should keep the power output very close so as the driver/operator doesen't notice a thing in performance. But on gas mine trucks milage drops like mad! I tried gas...
It was back in the days on mister mac and the wiz kids. You know, everybody will wear the same shoes and will have the same rifle. Mabye those bean counters thought they could streamline truck production also. They would be able to keep less spare parts on the shelf that way. If they really...
I sudjest you start small if your worried. Say 1 gallon to a tank full. Then 2 gallons and so forth. If your truck starts t orun back add more diesel. I run about 30% max. Even though i think it could handle alot more. I'm tring to keep injectors form fouling
A turbo's #1 job is fuel efficiency. A boost in power output is a side effect. Witch is the feature most people focus on. "clean air" was just a slogan because the trucks didn't smoke as bad.
Bjorn posted some charge air temps in a prevous thread that suprised me. He showed the water cooled...
Make sure when you take it apart that you mark the shaft and compressor wheel. To make sure you put them back in the same exact location as you took it apart. If not it will be out of balence. Turbos this small have to be in balence with in just a few milligrams. IF not they destroy the shaft...
