The intercooler part. But the acohol injection brings up alot of questions. How hot will it burn and will it melt pistons? I'd also worry about it bringing water with it and making steam in the cylinders. Let us know what happens.
Is there any way to adjust the temp that the cooling fan engages? This one comes on at 210 deg and shuts off at 200. I used my laser heat gun to double check. And make sure the temp guage was reading right. It has a 180 thermostat in it but the temp will climb untill 210 when the fan comes on...
Take a 1 1/16 wrench and loosed the nut then soak the pin/mirror arm with penetratin oil for a few days. Then turn the nut untill it's flush with the end of the pin. Then use a piece of alumium or brass up aginst the nut/pin. Then hit it good with a mini sledge. Putting the nut flush with the...
I use mine off road alot. Running through deep mud is like throwing a rock into a pond. There is alot of wieght on the front tires and they are pretty skinny.
I filled up yesterday at the flying j in baytown for 2.55. gas is running about 2.75. sounds like somebodys comgressman needs a good talking to. Couldn't they help us on the fuel taxes abit?????
I hope the effects arn't too bad. When driving off road. Mine rarley gets above 160. In the winter it runs about 120. But the only thing i have to go off of is the gauge. witch could be wrong. When running down the road it stays pretty close to 180 winter or summer.
Mine didn't have greese grooves eather. They also will need to be Burnished or reamed to the right size. But i bored and cut the grease grooves in my lathe. You might need to go to a machine shop or get a machinist buddy to fix u up. With out the grooves grease will just push out and not get...
Ninja. I got a spare cab that needs a good home. It needs some work in the cowl area it self. But you can't beat the price FREE. But you gotta come get it. Come look at it. If you want it take it, otherwise when i finish stripping it it's going to the trash. Oh yea it's pretty much rust free.
I had a sprag that did it best to get me stuck! After a while it only worked in forward. I installed lockouts and a airshift. Milage goes up and alot less wear and tear on the front axle. Airshift is the only way to go.
When i first started I didn't filter at all. But primary fuel filters didn't last long. I keep a spare in the glove box to get me home when it would plug. I then started to run it through a coffie filter stuffed in the tank strainer. That seemes to help the filters last longer. Although i didn't...
