Thanks man, but yeah I bought the 78:1 ratio one, they were out of the 58:1. I checked the website and all I saw was there new "half back" method of tightening your lugs. I reckon I'll email him and find out for sure.
Installed mine right above the turbo manifold, the rear port. Probably about 1 in or so above the top side of the flange. As far as wall thickness, It was close to 1/4in I believe. I just used the 1/8th NPT fitting for mine. Drilled and tapped the hole.
Hey your not far from me! What part of...
I did it from the bottom. 2 wrenches, sitting on your heels while trying to tighten something at the top wasn't what I would call easy. Mabey my arms just arn't long enough? I was pissed when I discovered I couldn't get my impact to any of them.
Did you check the short shaft from the trans to transfer? It's a PITA to get to and tighten and they seem really common to be loose causing lots of different noises.
Will any of those style spare tire holders fit a 395/85R20? And does the top part that has the pulley on it swivel by chance? I would like to put one in my M35 but need to mount it facing rearward instead of sideways.
Thanks

What's the deal with "off road use only"? Just to get you out of the liability? Are they bead locks? Or unsafe for road use? Looks good, wish I had $1200 extra around. Been wanting a rim rim with less backspacing than the original.....Can you run them without flipping the hubs in the rear?
That's the same type of thing I'm trying to do to mine. I checked out your build thread and that's a good looking truck! What did that tank come out of? I want tot do the same thing as far as draining the tank with ball valves. Haul 100% WMO in the tank, stop at a gas station put 15 gal of gas...
Guys would you mind posting some pics of the fuel tanks in your 5 tons, listing what it's out of and how many gallons? I've been trying to find some pics to no avail with search. What I'm trying to do is make a easily removable aux. fuel tank to go in the bed of my M35A2 to haul waste oil fuel...
