Here's some pics of my basic idea. I got around to removing the passenger seat last night. Now I've got to find something to use as a spacer to raise it 3 1/2 inches or so. I'll probably use some square tubing.

The 20 mm ammo cans arn't hinged, they have latches on both sides. I plan on bolting the bottom in the front direct to the trans hump, leaving the front latch intact. The rear due to space and the need to remove it in the future I plan on cutting the latch part off. Useing all-thread a little...

Fixing to build a center concolse in mine. Useing a 20MM ammo can it's big! Just the same width of the trans hump and just right length. I plan on in stalling cup holders in it and eventually a radio with 3 speakers all plumbed into the can. It will be non-opening when I get done, and right now...

I had a little different problem with my lights but I found a rub. A little lower than where it comes out of the firewall, there was a a piece of steel that the harness was sitting on and it had cut into the insulation. That's all it took to take out my left turn signals. Just a FYI
