Yeah I'm familer with what too much either will do but didn't know that trick about thru the windshield. Thanks I'll remember that when I need it this winter.
You need to check a thread in the Duece hot rodding section, Home water injection or something like that. Methanol is a very bad thing to inject into a diesil engine as one of them already found out.
Why can't you spray and then crank? What differance does it make?
And when you do spray it do you just spray it into the mushroom on the side or open the air cleaner box and spray it down the tube?
Sorry never had to use starter fluid on a vehicle.
In the search function I don't see how to limit which sections the results come from? In other words limiting searches for results from sections like Duece, Duece hotrodding and mods, or classifieds? Or have I just not found the right function yet?
Looking better every day, I've noticed tweaks...

Just flipped the spring perches on the front axle of mine and it fixed my wander. Just have to drill a new locator hole in the other side. It stopped my tire scrubbing also! I have the 395's on stock rims.
I'm running the 395's and I am hitting 55mph or so at about 2000rpm. It's hard to watch the gps and the road so 2k is as fast as I go. At that speed the speedo shows about 42mph. I don't care to go any faster. I do pay close attention to stopping distances though, and take plenty of time getting...
