My Wife and I moved to Idaho from Cali back in 1990, we stayed about 10 years and we'd still be there if construction work hadn't cratered. We lived down in the Southwest corner, about 25 miles West of Boise in the town of Nampa. We liked the town and the countryside, and the Deer and Elk...
Hewitt Industries EGT and Boost
Like Bjorn, my choice was the Hewitt Industries EGT and Boost gauges. They don't require any power except for the red 24 Volt LED back-lighting, which I chose to mimic the Deuce's OEM gauges. The gauges came with everything needed to complete the installation. I...
No, turning the ignition switch on will not load the cylinders with fuel, that is the injector pump's job. You should be looking for a short somewhere, the circuit breaker in the 3 lever switch is protecting the wiring by shutting down the circuit. There is no easy way except to get on the...
I had some fun with the Army's Birthday. I was getting all the Marines I know who work with me at the VA to wish me a happy birthday, after the handshake and traditional "Happy Birthday", I told them thank you and it was the Army's Birthday. That's OK they replied, come November 10th you better...

Follow the Big-Dogs advice, he is right on the money. I have put almost 6000 miles on my truck in the past 4 years, and have never had to replaced a lamp. My truck idle is set for about 800 RPMs, that takes a lot of the shake out.
NOT TRUE! Electrical sub panels are required to have the Neutrals (grounded conductors) isolated from the grounding conductors. Grounding is done at the Service Entrance or Main Panel. DO NOT install or connect to any other ground rods when connected to the utility, all grounding MUST be done at...
Mattyboy, You've let the cat out of the bag now. Please download the Operator's Manual for your truck. All Operator functions are covered there. No sense in troubleshooting until you've got the basic truck functions understood, I'll be more than happy to help you then.
You indicated the flasher unit was operational, and your turn/brake lamps are all good. Open up your turn signal switch unit and look to see that all the contacts are clean and making good connections. We'll troubleshoot this one step at a time.
