M35A1 starting issues, with vid for diagnosis

Didn't get to work on the A1 Sat., but spent some time with scooter trying to get the front axle out from under the parts truck. Springs and hangers were already gone. He needs the axle for his 108. If he hadn't been rear ended by a Jetta on the way over and used up a lot of time we might have...

    new style light switch install.

Not being from the push-button generation (video games, remotes, text messaging etc.), I like the old style switch. I'm much better with mechanical stuff. Can operate the 3 lever switch in the dark with one hand without even looking at it. Besides, I think it is a wonderfully clever device. BC

need help figuring out how to re-route air supply lines

I think Chevytruck has the right idea. Move the tanks to the roof and just run lines from there to where you disconnected the others from the tanks. BC

    Interesting radiator shutter find

I found this radiator shutter next to an old Deuce radiator leaning against a tree near the parts truck scooter and I have acquired. Brought it home and juiced the heck out of it with penetrating oil and have managed to get it to operate manually. It is spring tensioned to stay open and there is...

M35A1 starting issues, with vid for diagnosis

Bjorn, We have bled the system a lot. We loosened all the fuel lines at the injectors so they were only held by a couple of threads so that we could actually see the fuel pulsing out, not just a drip. They all would shoot out a good stream when it was their turn to fire. My sense is though that...

needed: detailed pics of convoy light installation

I think someone should test the prototype before making up lots of them. Remember, the poles are set into a slightly concave mount and if you put a flat spacer across there even 1/4 "you will be moving them out approx. 1/2 to 5/8 of an inch. Bumping them out that much you will only be able to...

    Info on who rebuilds turbos

Kenneth, I just had mine rebuilt by Ken from Houston here on the Forum. Very , very reasonable price, very communicative by phone and PM and very helpful if you have any questions in regards to the turbo and anything associated with it. An excellent experience.:-D I would send another one in a...

Oil in the air tank...bet that's not good.

You can also test to see if your check valve is working by draining the inboard tank first and then waiting awhile to drain the outboard tank. If when you go to drain it there is no pressure, it is most likely malfunctioning or you have quite a leak downstream of it in the system somewhere. BC
