    MT-1029 help please.

Typically the 4720 wires are paired as follows. Black and green= negative, Red and White= Positive. Check that out. Then I suppose I would check to make sure the mount is wired accordingly. Check continuity from the paired wires to the pins to make sure no stray wire strand is touching another...

citizensoldier, You wrote, "They are looking for any reason they can find to outlaw our trucks ......" Who are "they". Is there something afoot that I am not aware of. Is this just in your area or is this a nation wide movement that "they" are working on? Just curious, BC

    Radio Trouble

Not sure if this would cause the situation that you describe, but have you checked to see if the internal connection in the 1029 mount (which I would guess you have) is in the remote setting? It needs to be when operating with an AM 1780 and the VIC 1 system. BC

    Deuce auxillary fuel tank

OK Armada, I know that when your wheels start turning the results are usually pretty fine. I understand that the Contamination Kit holders are somewhat hard to find but I happened across this one. You have to remove the "burn box" and then release the back of the holder with a couple of dzus...

    Deuce auxillary fuel tank

For an upcoming road trip I wanted to minimize fuel costs so I mounted an extra Deuce fuel tank with pump in the pass. side front of the Deuce bed. Pics show transfering junk yard gas into the tank with a 12 volt pump with two filters. I pumped 5 containers plus 5 qts. of oil into the tank which...
