I use it daily to back up into the drive behind the garage, makes the rapid steering needed to avoid the other trucks, low hanging limb and 6.2 in the crate that is back there. 8) I always use it when backing a M105 trailer, what a frustrating act...
Editing to add that I use it when I want to...
I think you find a cage or suitable substitute, use a clamp on air chuck, and stay as far away as you can, preferably behind a solid object while it seats. I do not think a board is going to reduce your injuries by much. I do not want to be on top of the wheel or ring at all when airing them up...
I may be in for the Darwin award, I always ran a pair of 3/8 chain around the tire and wheel through the holes and used a remote air line. That would be using the four hooks in a cross pattern to secure the ring in the case I assembled it wrong or did not have the ring seated properly. Now I...
One of my co-workers decided to take his life in a different direction after 17 years, so last night we had a going away get together for John. One fine young man and I wish him only the best.
There was another young man that was wandering around outside the fence, it was easy to tell that he...
I just had one apart again, make sure the button end on the left brace going up in the door is in the track, it would be the right side brace on the bottom. The window crank drives the other arm. If that arm is out of the track in the door, the front edge of the window goes up ahead of the back...
Has anybody tried water blasting the tater chips away? I have a couple of deuces that are pretty bad, I am seriously considering hitting them with a water blaster. I know it will cut 2 x 4s in two in short order, I am hoping it will just blast the paint away. It would sure beat scraping and...
I think we have 168 of these now. I still have failed to flip one for you, but the stack is large and I am sure I can get you all kinds of photos. My apologies Sir! Glen
You should be fine, just do not lean on it, pick a gear that allows the engine to run fairly free and use the slow lane... Doing a slow ascent easily sure beats trying a rapid ascent and blowing the engine. I do not mind towing other trucks, but I would rather see mine arrive under their own...
If it is a deuce you deisre, there are a bunch of deuce addicts around here. Want to drive one? Swing by and we will go out and give you some lessons. I think the best way to learn is in the driver's seat.... welcome to the forums from Kansas. Glen
It uses the same switch that the original flame heater used. I think the later depot rebuilds or new engine replacements they switched to the ether bottle and eliminated the flame heater. Five of the nine deuces that came out of that batch of deuces at Riley were equipped with the ether bottle...
I use a 1/4 inch drive deep six point socket to break the bleeder screw loose and tighten them with the same. Finger tight will shut down the fluid/air exchange. G
