Previous owner removed and has data plate. OP just has a copier copy of the plate. I advised him in a PM to get the plate back, it belongs with the truck.
Why would it smoke? Wouldn't it just not work if the polarity was incorrect? Also OP, make sure the relay is DC, some relays are for AC circuits only. Make sure the contacts are rated for the load you wish to control. Watts divided by Volts = Amps.
You might want to think twice about that one. Looks like something you could impale yourself on should you slip off of the bumper or fender. A better idea is to get familiar with the vehicle and know how far the front end projects.
Ask your questions here, we may give you a tough time about perusing the TM's and using the search feature, but the chances of getting smoke blown up your fanny will be alleviated.
Don't know for sure, but I'd be willing to bet they will want you to pump the brakes until the low air warning buzzer comes on. They will want to see at what PSI it comes on, and then turns off. Lights, wipers, and horn will be most likely the other equipment they'll want to poke their nose...
