Thanks AL for all the help. It appears my yellow and purple wires are cut off from the light. Is the ECU the box mounted on the firewall in the engine compartment drivers side?
-23, haven't installed the P2P yet but will next, I have it downloaded thanks. Problem is I can't find where the rest of the wire is that these cut off wires go to! Why the heck would they cut them off in the frist place? This was a radio truck, you'd think the wires going to the radio/s would...
Found both fuses, both are good. ABS Still has light lit all the time, get no clicks when battery switch is on, and starter switch turned to run.. Having a hard time with the ABS troubleshooting TM. Wish it would show me a complete wiring diagram what wires go where, where the ecu is ect.. I...
Just got done my first one. Didn't get the exact hole for the first drilling but adjusted the second to match. Thanks much for the help and the pics! The control boxes have an INT connection, can I use a headset directly to one of them instead of putting up two or more LS-671?
If you can get a glad hand hose with inflater it will help. I was lucky enough to.get one in the goodie box. If I recall correctly the tire needs 10 lbs before the ct is will kick in. I would bring compressor just in case. I brought everything but the kitchen sink to get my A3. All I needed was...
I could have sworn there was a metal bracket holding up the vinyl cover when I bid on this truck, but alas there is no bracket. This cover makes a lot of nose inflating and deflating driving down the road. Is there a mil standard for holding this vinyl cover upright? Or do I need to keep using a...
Welcome aboard. The TM's and everybody here can help you, be prepared, if you did not consult the TM's or do a search you will most likely get a tongue lashing from the older members here.
Beautiful pics, Beautiful truck! where'd you get the fuel can at? I bought 3-4 cans that aren't spec and won't fit in the carrier. Interesting box, any numbers on it?
It's a two piece bracket+ the sugar scoop. As to the PRC-9 I can't help you. If you want better pics of the bracket parts let me know. There should be four bolts at the front of the fender, I haven't gotten around to drilling them yet.
Well it appears to be official, my M923 also has the holes and outline also on the right fender. I just drilled the holes, except for two on my M923A2, just need to get a reinforcement bracket (I'm going to use a piece of 1/8" or 1/4" steel) for the lower two holes under the fender.
All my military vehicles are covered under State Farm policies in their original model numbers. IMO people stating they are Chevy or jeep are setting themselves up when it comes time in an accident for non pay. They hosed me on my deuce under commercial until I threatened to take all my business...
Is there a preferred side/designated side for the 939 series? I'm thinking right side for cable convenience? I notice on the deuce it will have to be left side but that's down the road, right now need to start drilling holes on the 923A2.
Took two parties on a ride, my troop seats are fiberglass and it's flaking off. What's the best way (is there a way?) to reseal these seats so the fiberglass doesn't bother people?
Would repainting do the job?
Thanks guys!
Depends whether you are sitting at idle or running her at 1500-2000 rpm. RTK has it on the money. I have a small leak somewhere, but **** if I can find it, none of the tires go flat, but when I start it, I'll use the hand idle at 1500 rpm and it takes care of the CTIS filling in a minute or...
