Good Shot Suprman! As you can see in his photo, the end type of truck 31/XXXXX See the thread with our magician from the tonight show, long thread but I think that's where I saw a list of possible serial and their places.
Both my 923 and 923a2 have been to at least Kuwait by the paperwork left in the cab. I can tell you the A2 tire pressure system certainly works for deep snow, so I imagine it's the same in sand. Gin pole? I'm guessing you mean tying a log to the tire/rim? Not very practical long term but enough...
I've often thought of that or have some electronic tech make up a unit that broadcasts short distances over the entire FM radio band...... LOL I'd get myself in trouble.
I forget who it was but someone posted a list of the kind of numbers used by the manufacturers. Those numbers you found on the frame are NOT the serial number. The 23/XXXXX is correct unless they replaced the dataplate. I haven't been able to find a serial on my A2 frame like the A3 deuce(pretty...
Don't you just love it when thing fix themselves? Now if my 923 would fix itself and stop putting oil in the coolant and venting it out the surge tank tube.
Did some pirahna bite through the cable? Army mechanics cut all the leads running through the firewall on mine. First thing to check is the 3 and 15 amp fuses. Maybe one of them blew and when everything is dried out all fixed? Hoping for you.
Well two things come to my mind, quieter and fuel mileage. With a M923 your top speed will be about 55mph@ redline 2100 rpm.. A1 and A2 65mph or so.
Page 200 is a good starting point of TM 9-2320-272-23-1 I haven't had any trouble so far with my A2 CTIS but I hear I'm a fluke. It definitely...
A1's have the same engine as the 923 but Super single tires. A2's have a completely different engine than the M923 and A1 and same tires as the A1, they also have the CTIS system.
Well It seems my 923 has oil in the coolant and is spitting it out the overflow tube on the expansion tank...
My Deuce came with some bonuses, the three others were pretty stripped. Best to personally preview the truck and take pictures of everything. Then have GL rep note on the form he signs what's missing and file a claim.
Not to hijack the thread but I'm dancing on air! Identified which cable was the one(had five matching colored wires, other cable was for radio/s. Cut some of the sheathing back, stripped the wires, stripped the wires inside coming from the ABS light. One had a female plug on it had to crimp a...
Luck wins out. Motherboard is fine, got out my Power supply tester, bad PS. swapped in a brand new PS and computer back up and running. Now to print off your suggestions and get to work.
Thanks Al. I followed the cable from the ECM/ECU. Apparently when they removed the radios from this truck they took the brutal approach cutting both thick cables coming through the firewall! Should be relatively easy to rectify. Of course when I went to print out the color schematic my computer...
