In TM 9-2320-361-20 it says that 85 - 120 is considered correct. Mine came set at 120 from the military. Don't have any reason to think it should hurt anything.

If you don't find a member selling any there are two dealers that have it listed but I don't know for a fact they have it still in stock. The shipping can be high so be sure to compare. I think the days of $20 ~ $30 a gallon are behind us...

If the temp has dropped much it can make for leaks.
Very nice install. You are correct in that it looks like it belongs there. I have given thoughts of doing the same thing. Extra lockable storage is always a good thing.
Just from my experience be sure to check FedEx ground. I have shipped a couple medium size and weight items and every time I compare UPS and FedEx, FedEx always is a couple dollars cheaper. 2cents
Have you changed the fuel filters ? Might be worth a try. My truck had started to be hard starting and finally died running in the driveway one day. Only had the filters in for 2 ~ 3 tanks of fuel. A lot of air bubbles in the line from the final to the ip when it died.
Like Flyingvan911 said "You will be the main mechanic on your deuce". To me the care and feeding of the deuce is as enjoyable as the driving. You only really need basic tools to do most of the repairs and maintenance. There are a few special tools like the 3" socket to remove the wheel bearing...
