I recovered my 105 with the deuce and like you said you couldn't tell it was back there. I need to do some work to make it road ready but I like the looks of the deuce with the trailer.
The black magnet in the picture I posted is normally cemented in the cup that is attached to the motor shaft. All this is enclosed in the casing that makes the top unit of the pump. The lower part that you can remove has a similar magnet that is driven, buy the magnetic field and is attached to...
The bolts that have the safety wire are the ones that hold the hub / hub adapter assembly together. The bolts that hold the brake drum to the hub adapter only have lock washers under the nut.
I just used the cork sheet in the gasket material pack I picked up at NAPA to make one. My pump failure was that the magnet on the bottom of the motor section came unglued so that even though the motor ran fine the impeller never turned.
I have made several purchases from Murray's and have had a good experience every time. They often have items that other dealers don't normally stock. Not to mention they are close. :D

Well I might just give it a try. I ditched my easy pass when they started charging a "maintenance" fee. Got the same thing from Massachusetts for free. No deposits and no fees.
So they didn't care your residence was Md ? Interesting. I've got a 105 that needs a tag and I would prefer not to go through the hassle and expense the "Free State" imposes.
I have thought about getting the IFTA stickers. Reading through the Md regs there is no exemption for historic plates that I run on the deuce. I can just see me forgetting the quarterly reports though with the small amount of fuel I burn anyway.
