Dash plate SAYS 63. Where do you get the idea 60 + is dangerous to brakes? 5 tons have a completely different brake system compared to 2 1/2 tons.

I've added Rotella to me 923A2. A lot of guys apparently change the trans to dexron, I'll stick with what they started with. Hear you on the wife. Mine will be pitching a fit soon as I snag a wrecker one of these days! She didn't mind much cause I got my 5 ton cheap.

Lucky.....I didn't have a **** thing in the goodie boxes. Did have a extra shackle, a couple military pouches and some paperwork indicating my truck was in Kuwait at one time in the early 90's in the cab.

I took the crapshoot on mine, but bid low, $3250 got her, Needs a lot of rust removal and repaint, but other than that and one tire wearing much faster than the rest and shaking at 55-60 MPH and resewing the top at the front and adjusting the idle speed It's all good. Mine had 29K+ on it.

I have the same issue. 55 It shakes like the death wobble on my deuce. Do you have one tire that's worn more than the rest? My left middle axles tire has much more wear and the spare is worn down like it was dragging and replaced with the current tire. I caged the brake, but no difference to...

My A2 overspeed light on the dash flashes pretty much any time I go over 55mph even when the highway selector has fully aired up the tires and is a steady red on the highway mode panel of the CTIS selector. Anyone else have that issue or a clue to why it may be flashing? I understand it's there...
