No, I am not trying to sell one. I have a unique deal with a local businessman, he is all about scrap. He does not have time to mess with the auctions, so I do that for him. In return I get small parts and tires. He has no interest in selling anything, parts etc... He would just as soon not mess...
Even more....
I know the little Mack is out of place here, but I sure thought it was cute!
The ocean of trailers goes on, this is not a military installation, they contract repair trailers.
We bought a fleet of bolster trailers. It was muddy today in the yard, both mine and the salvage yard, although my neighbors probably think mine is salvage.... Anyway, I decided to go out and take a peek through the fence at our bolster trailers. It was quite a surprise, I had no idea they had...
I gave a van loaded with scrap a 50 foot shove. One of the guys at the yard blocked my M 105s in with it. It was kind of fun in a distorted way. Van had no tires and now has badly bent back doors. It was crusher fodder anyway. Did a little plowing though. 8^)
I actually did the four way through the receiver hitch. I had one of those locking hitch pins that apparently crystallized on me and broke towing an empty car dolly. My daughter was in college in Winfield and he car broke down. I am glad the pin broke with just the dolly on and I am glad I had...
Sort of, most truck have open differentials, so if you could hang opposing duals in the air, most of them would spin the airborne tires. Like the right front rear and left rear duals. There are some trucks with lockers. The rear suspension is very well designed and quite flexible. It is almost...
I would not risk losing 25% by delaying EUC submission. I know of two deuces and a really nice M1008 that were sold twice at Riley for EUC/Pick up issues. They are running a business and making money on the fine print.
If you win one, you could have a member in the area help you. I enjoy recoveries and would drag one home from Riley for fuel costs. I am sure there are others among us that enjoy visiting and recovering vehicles. Maybe not as cheap as I am, but it is better than forfeiture. Glen
Adding that...
They are heavy, they will "educate" a 1/2 ton pickup and dominate most SUVs. You have to be extremely careful.
Here is a Toyota Tundra with two on a car trailer, it just waxed the rear suspension. Down on the snubbers, no rear suspension. We towed it about 60 miles to make sure the recovered...
Those in the photos would appear to be M35A2 trucks and more than likely are multifuel powered. They may be marked diesel only. Look at some of the engine threads on this site and you can learn to identify the engines pretty quickly. The dual upright oil filters and narrow valve cover make the...

He has a small military trailer, smaller than any I have seen before. It is also very cool. I should have snagged some photos there too. I am sure there will be another day, he was very friendly, Korean War Vet. Super guy, had his son driving for him today though. Glen
I had been at a funeral and as I was leaving, I saw an old Jeep roll by a block or two away. I ran them down and they were out charging the battery, a little shake down run. He bought the Jeep years ago from a farmer and has been adding a little here and there when he finds it. Neat old truck...
