We had 24 ~ 28 inches last year and I had a ball. Aired down the tires to 20psi and had a great time roaming the roads. Never had a problem with the NDCC tires and made it through several snow banks the plows had made. Hoping for the same this year. Wish I had a heater to defrost the windshield...
I purchased the upgrade kit from Erik's and it had everything needed. Was easy to do and one less thing in the brake hydraulic system to cause problems.
Sounds like you might have a bad switch. The brake lights should remain on as long as you have pressure held on the brake pedal. I just changed to the air switch and as long as there is pressure on the brake pedal the brake lights are on steady. I take it that you are not having and low air...
When I did my oil change I just started the engine with no extra cranking. Let it idle for several minutes and check the filter cans several times for leaks.
That wouldn't work for pulling the front axle seal. The seal carrier is hardened and the seal is on the inside and if mine was any indication that little screw wouldn't last the first hit.
That is a sharp looking truck. My wife puts up with a lot from me, God bless her, but I would never have gotten away with stacking my tire in the living room.
I would just like to have the concrete pad.
Checked the level this evening and no change just sitting. Didn't have a chance to drive it any to see if the level would change. Sorry, not much help.
Well, I've been to one world fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, but I have never seen green brake fluid. The DOT 5, if new should be purple and over time it turns a kind of florescent amber / yellow. I would be inclined to do a complete flush just so I know what I had. 2cents
3rdmdqm. I just install the exact same reservoir today in the same location. There was quite a few bubbles that came up into the reservoir from the connecting hose when I filled it. My MC was full to the top because I had just power bled the system. I'll check mine tomorrow and see if it has...
Welcome from the Peoples Republic of Maryland. Great bunch of folks here and more information than you have questions. If you check under the "Resource" menu and go to technical manuals you will find all the TM's for your truck.
I just replaced all 6 of my wheel cylinders. All 6 had the boots full of BFS. 2 had started leaking into the drum assembly. All 6 were full of crud. All 6 had the straight cut springs. Never had any problem with low / soft brake pedal even when I picked it up from Jefferson City GL lot. I do...
I have always had manual hubs and transfer case in my pickups. All you really need to do is every month or so lock the hubs and take a 20~30 mile drive. I have used this method for the 30+ years I have owned 4X4's and never had bearing or seal failure because of lack of lubrication. 2cents
