Made some short jumper wires with the proper military connectors, put in a Y connector and now my front park lights are on anytime the side markers are on.(both park on the tri switch and service)

I have a 1998 A3, some of the axles have 03 painted on the ends so I don't think axle tags will give you a an accurate "build" date.

Thanks a bunch, that was the problem, Air brake switch. There was some fluid in the switch. I emptied it out, sprayed some PB blaster in there, emptied it out, put some tool oil in there, emptied it out. Put the switch back in, everything is golden. I ordered a new switch but it's good in the...
