    Error when sending personal message

I have PM'd RDM successfully. I can not PM off the member list if I get the page where the whole top of the page is filled with smileys. Have to get the other PM form.

    Fuel temperature question

Assuming the same rate for my system, the fuel in my tank cycled one and a half times. I would guess then that the temp of the fuel might have been reasonably consistent throughout.

    Fuel temperature question

I had two thermometers, one hanging in the fuel and the other hanging from the truck right near the tank, and yes I think the sun hit the ambient thermo for that reading. Was kind of a spur of the moment experiment and not particularly high-tech. A couple of inexpensive Taylor thermometers, used...

    Fuel temperature question

Bjorn, I realize I'm not in the area you want to study, but I was dubbing at the house today writing estimates, weeding the winter's collection of crap out of my work truck, etc., so I thought I would get you some numbers. I'm curious myself anyway because I would like to come up with a WVO/bio...

What are your laws on Military vehicles?

For informational purposes, up here in NH, one needs a permit to carry concealed, but if your pair of six-shooters is visible you can walk down main street with no hassle. Neighboring Mass., on the other hand, has very restrictive gun laws. My other neighboring state Vermont has no such laws...

    Deuce Parts - EBAY SCAM

I don't think we need this back and forth trash talking on this Forum with all its sweeping/accusatory statements. PM each other or correspond through Ebay email. Or at least do what FSBruva suggests, move it. Maybe we should have a new section called "The Outhouse" or something just for this...

    Trip to Spencer's

A Deuce load of Thank You to Towerguy1. Knowing that I wanted a dropside bed after our trip to Lewiston, he very kindly gave me first dibs on a dropside bed that he and Carguy had found at Spencers boonyard( that's a boneyard in the boonies). It is in very good condition, complete with all troop...

Looking for broken rear axle shaft

Try the classifieds in the left margin under resources. That shouldn't be locked. I'm not sure if a lot of people look there but I posted a wanted there the other day so we'll see what the response is.

    Air outlet for compressor

Thanks CT, I think I'll do that. Did you use a non-collapsable hose of some sort?

    Air outlet for compressor

Do you guys that don't have fording kits have the outlet for the air compressor on the backside of the air filter housing plugged. I'm wondering if that would let enough air in so that the 2x4 trick over the main inlet wouldn't work to stop a runaway engine.

    Need your VIN number

That number fits your research, but who knows, cause the NSN # on my data plate is for a 2 1/2 ton dump truck, but it reads 2 1/2 ton cargo truck without winch. Go figure!

    Need your VIN number

Here is mine. Believe it to be a 1970 Kaiser-Jeep. Data Plate ID #: 0525-183XX. It is a M35a2 WO/W. Winch has been added.
