I guess I should have made myself more clear. I want to keep the non-skid area when I refinish the fenders. At my age, I need all the help I can get. I might try the same in the paint method. Thanks,
I am in the process of bobbing my deuce and am refinishing each part as I get to it. As far as the front fenders are concerned, are there any recommendations as to how to handle the non-skid area between the two ribs on the front fenders?
Try doing test flares someplace if you can. It is a real pain in the arse! :( Whichever way you go, get a tubing bender to make things easier. Good luck.
I had a problem with the small plastic tubing connected to mine when I was removing the injector for o-ring replacement. Anyone know where you can buy new tubing?
