I see, I see. I've read a few opinions on what max pressure a small cam can handle and they very between 200-230 psi. What pressure would be your max and have you come across any official number from Cummins?
I saw The Untouchable 5-ton at the Auburn, Washington 2024 Veteran's Day parade this year so I'm assuming it's not the one listed from New Jersey (can't confirm, however). I don't have any details other than these pics:
With the heater drawing in warm air from the cab on continuous recirc, the heater should get nice & toasty. Brazing the leak shut on the heater would be a more affordable option than replacing with the new $230 units...just an idea...
I twisted mine off from over tightening so I cut off the male threads and drilled & tapped for 1/8 NPT female threads to use a nipple. If you can drill straight and tap straighter it could be a way to fix your misalignment (don't tap too deep).
I got the truck all tucked in for a cozy winter hibernation in a heated shop. It's the first time ever that it has been indoors and I'm afraid it may get spoiled 😁.
While it’s hanging out here, i think I'll finally do the battery box mods like @Brutacus did a while back.
Your M923 is part of the M939 series so start looking here:

The M920 is part of the M916 series of trucks (completely different)
The NHC-250 is 855 cid (14 liter) and is a pretty good engine.
I'm running 60 in front, 35 in rear and 40 in the middle for now, but I still experiment with different rear settings. Truck is empty.
I like the chalk/paint idea - will have to try that out.
