    Which Turbo For My LDS??

Ken, what a great answer, thank you very much. I will be using the wastegate turbo as pulling power is what I need with the truck. Thanks again,

    Which Turbo For My LDS??

I need to decide which turbo to put back on my LDS. I just had new valve guides installed and had the heads cleaned up for my M52A2. The engine had a "D" turbo on it but I also have a spare LDS with the older waste gate turbo on it. I removed the waste gate turbo and had new bearings intalled...

Something to Move a Dozer with

The M345 has been mentioned, here's mine below. Believe me, it's very tall!! You can see from the photos, that it's taller than the deuce bed. It was designed for crane-shovel attachments. It was designed to have equipment lifted on and off. I plan on using it behind my XM816. I'd hate to be...

tachograph better than speedo and tach?

The tachograph has an hour meter, you have to open the face to see it. So I guess you need the key. I believe you can get the key from the manufacturer. I have one in my M52A2 and a spare, I think they're cool too. Like the clock.

Late Model USAF Contract M35A2C Spotters Guide

Mike, at this point, I really don't know where the Tanker started it's life. There was a group built in 85. It very well could be Air-Force. I'll have to send Carnac the VIN.

    87 AF Deuce on GSA

Hello Fireball, So, could this truck be basically new? The exterior sure looks almost new, like it's been protected from the elements. Again, my money is on 348 miles being correct from new. We will know soon..... Addition to my 1st post: Or could it be a Silo Queen???

    87 AF Deuce on GSA

Yeah, they can be all used up, re-wired, reconfigured, rusted out, pretty bad. I've had decent luck on GSA. My M756A2 came from GSA. Montana Forestry, they never used it, they had it for 10 years and never touched it. We'll find out about the truck above soon enough.:-D The other trucks in...

    87 AF Deuce on GSA

I agree that the speedo could have been changed. Or, even busted. I'm looking at the paint primarily. It looks like the original paint from AM General. I don't believe it's been CARC'd. I could be wrong, but I believe it's the same paint we usually see in the interior. My money is on original...

    87 AF Deuce on GSA

Did anyone see this truck on GSA that sold today? 1987 Air Force Deuce, looks like factory paint, split brakes, 348 miles (could be original). The truck looks to be virtually unused and almost NOS (except for broken window knob and who knows what else). Probably one of the nicest Deuces I've...

    M52A2 new front feet

Great shots, nice lighting. Great piece of engineering you're doing. Nice tractor!!! I like M52A2's. Really not that many around (comparatively speaking). I've got a 1968 M52A2 w/w as well. I've got my heads at the diesel shop getting new valve guides and a general clean up right now. Took 3...
